The Professional Driver Improvement Course is really designed for class 1,2 and 3 holders, and being the holder of a class 1and the lower classes of licenses in two countries, I have a good essential and working knowledge know each vehicle handles. The PDIC assists professional drivers with improving their defensive driving techniques. The course consists of six one-hour sessions in a classroom setting. The Driver's Notebook contains case studies, driving tips and other useful information, in addition to the course. The course content covers defensive driving techniques, passing, collision prevention, driving conditions, turns, backing, driver awareness and impairments, and vehicle inspections. This course, through the use of visual aids and qualified instructors, will show your drivers how to avoid potentially dangerous situations. Classroom participation involves case studies and active discussion of real life situations, as well as traffic hazard identification.As an employer, you already have a large investment in your drivers, and this course will help to:

Class 1-4 driver assessments
Driver assessments are carried out on a one-on-one basis using an agreed predetermined route, this provides a consistency among drivers. Having completed the UK Driving Standards Agency Commercial Vehicle Examiners course I'm in a unsurpassed position to give you a unbiased report on your employees driving ability, and including a detailed written report including any recommendation on the required driver improvement.In cab-defensive driving and fuel-efficient driving
This is a one day course offered at the customer's premises using the customer's vehicle. It is a valuable addition to the PDIC, and includes both theory and practical training. (Please note that the drivers normal days work can't be completed on that day.)Company Car / Fleet Driver Training
